Steak 'N Lobster—Simple Menu Celebrates a Classic Pairing in NYC

The spacious new Steak 'N Lobster in midtown smartly keeps the menu simple, putting emphasis on a classic pairing with gourmet flair—at affordable prices.

Unlike some of the restaurants in midtown, which can be cramped, or glitzy places with menus of everything under the sun but mediocre results, Steak 'N Lobster would be a wise choice for a family (or friends after work) that seeks casual dining, while appreciating a quality meal that won't break the bank. And you know what you want, when you're here.

Kogi Steak

The Kogi steak is tasty and tender, marinated in a sweet soy sauce.

Developed by long-time restaurateur Don Fellner and Chef Masato Okamoto, SNL's menu gets hungry patrons right to the basics. A modest $20 can take you one of two ways—a steak entree direction, or a fresh Maine lobster one. SNL Cheeseburger with ramen bun

For an extra $5, get a ramen bun with your Angus beef burger.

Steak lovers can choose from New York strip steak, Kogi steak, or Cajun steak. They can also opt for a juicy and tasty half pound Angus burger served on a brioche bun. For an extra $5, noodle lovers can opt for a ramen bun.  (Bonus: all of the beef selections are grass-fed, hormone-free, and antibiotics-free.)

Lobster Piri-kara

The Piri-kara lobster is smothered in red hot sauce.

Lobster fans can choose to have their one-pounder steamed, or grilled with lemon roasted garlic butter, or kick it up a notch: the “Piri-kara” lobster, at a slightly heftier one and a quarter pound, comes smothered in red-hot sauce. There are also two lobster roll choices; one with spicy Japanese mayo, or a New England lobster roll garnished with Japanese mayo, diced apples, cucumber, and celery on a toasted brioche bun. All entrees are served with a house salad and fries.

 Lobster Cream Puffs

The lobster cream puffs, dipped in plum sauce, are divine.

There are plenty of drink and snack options to be had as well. The lobster cream puffs dipped in plum sauce are divine. Make sure to order a few for the table!  Mac 'n' cheese lovers will also appreciate the house's spin on a comfort classic, prepped with a mix of gruyere, gouda, parmesan, and cheddar.

Steak n Lobster bar

Steak 'N Lobster's bar stretches along the length of the restaurant.

Steak 'N Lobster has a full bar that stretches along the length of the restaurant, with a selection of cocktails that will be prime for the summer crowd, including "The SNL," with Grey Goose, triple sec, peach liquor, plus orange, pineapple, and cranberry juices, served with a sugar rim,. There's also the less sweet but equally tasty Skinny Rita, with Patron Silver, Patron Citronge, fresh lemon and lime juice, and agave; available with or without a salted rim. Open just in time for the Kentucky Derby and Cinco de Mayo, there will also be drink specials synched with holidays and other special events.

If you have room to spare afterwards, choose from several decadent dessert selections, including the S'mores Freakshake and the Matcha Freakshake.
